- Phil Ivey, British casino embroiled in dispute over payment of $12 million in winnings
Okay, so this isn't a "PGA Tour" story, or even a Tiger story, BUT Phil is the Tiger Woods of Poker. And a casino - who is refusing to pay Phil Ivey his winnings - is either admitting they are totally stupid by watching him cheat and win $12 Million without being able to figure out something that should have been OBVIOUS or they are brazenly telling the world they are unscrupulous and simply refuse to pay when THEY lose. When Phil wins this lawsuit, I hope he gives the Tiger fist-pump.
- Frank Coughlin named Regional Manager for National Golf Management
One of my most favorite guys of all time! A smart move by a very smart company...
- Golf Channel to re-air 1971 U.S. Open showdown between Nicklaus, Trevino
This one is a classic - and it is amazing that many of today's PGA Tour fans have never seen it. My good friend, the late Bob Maybin, described this tournament (and playoff) as one of the best every played. Of course, he was a HUGE Trevino fan, and was actually Trevino's barber for a number of years. If you have never seen this, do yourself a favor and watch it - two of golf's greats battling it out head-to-head.
- Charles Raulerson buys Golf Club of Fleming Island
- LESSLIE: Golf cart donated to Rock Hill WWII vet after his was stolen
Jeremy at work for one of our TRUE American Heroes!!
- Ohio lawmakers want to honor Jack Nicklaus with Congressional…
Okay, I'll admit it... I'm prejudiced on this one. I think Jack Nicklaus, along with Arnold Palmer, has done more for our COUNTRY than many people recognize. He is an enduring icon, standing as a role model in virtually every endeavor he has entered - from professional sports to business. He has class, and continues to approach everything he does with a true desire to improve and make things better for everyone. I'm all for this.
- STX Golf announces new national “Equipped to Perform” contest
